How will my data be used?

After logging in you will be directed to your Participant Homepage where you can select different checkboxes to decide how CenTrial Data Ltd. (CTD) can use your data.

Research

If you select "I would like to anonymously share my survey results with qualified researchers," your data, de-identified, will be randomized and CTD will share it with companies and institutes that are performing health research such as behavioral studies, physiological studies, prevention studies, or public health research. You will receive a further intake form to complete that will request your signature if you wish your de-identified data to be shared.

Research Projects

If you select "I would like to be notified about research projects in my area that are paying for volunteers," CTD will use your data to select you for notification when we receive information about any research projects that are close to your physical location. You will receive a further intake form to complete that will request your signature if you wish your de-identified data to be shared.

New Drugs and Therapies

If you select "I would like to be notified about new drugs and therapies related to my conditions," CTD will use your data to notify you when we receive notice from public health organizations of new drugs and therapies. The sources of this information will be included in the notification. CTD does not provide any diagnoses or give any health advice.

Clinical Trials

If you select "I would like to participate in a clinical trial as a participant with a condition," or "I would like to participate in a clinical trial as a paid healthy participant," CTD will use your data to match you to a clinical trial as a potential participant. You will receive a further intake form to complete that will request your signature if you wish to participate. No name, no contact information, and no data will be given to a certified clinical trial until we have received your signed permission. CTD does not provide any diagnoses or give any health advice.

Update Your Data

You can access and update your data at any time by going through your profile again. Simply add, change, or delete your data on any page. Your updates are automatically saved as you enter them.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete your data and your profile from CTD at any time by clicking on the "Delete My Data" link at the bottom of your Participant Homepage. This action is irreversible and cannot be undone. Your data is erased and cannot be retrieved. If you have agreed to have your data passed to a third party with your consent you will have to contact them directly for deletion.
